BOO!

We are so ready for Halloween.

Good thing tomorrow is October 1st, hu?

During nap time today, I felt a little crafty.
It turned out nothing like I wanted it to.  I didn't have orange paint.  But it was fun to make.  I had made too "O's" for the "BOO" but then found the googly eyes.  So much better!
Faye loves it as well.  Every single time I set her on the ground, she makes a bee line for it.  Her adorable uncertain but careful walk.  She goes as fast as her chubby little legs will let her, the whole time looking behind to make sure I am not watching.  She had picked it up, carried it nearly out of the room, saw me coming, turned around and rushed to put it back.  I had to laugh.  I think I am in trouble when she gets older... or now.

Just for the record, in that photo, I had just set her down from eating, turned around to get a wash cloth, and she was off.  I didn't get to wash her face before she found the sign.  Silly girl.

And tomorrow is our annual October 1st Celebration!  I let have been in the kitchen for the past few days cooking up treats for the big event.  I may be just a smidgen more excited than Keith is.  Ichabod Crane, cider, popcorn balls and friends!  Bliss is on the menu tomorrow!

I so love how you americans celebrate BIG. Awesome. Halloween isn't anything we celebrate here, but I enjoy reading and seeing the colours in blog-land!
Your girl is such a cutie!

You just make me smile, Amy. I guess in an involuntary way. Imagine that?!?

Love your craft project. The googly eyes for the O's looks adorable.

Man, I need to move by you so I can babysit. She is beyond sweet.
