A Letter From Keith

Dear Mommy and Daddy,

Thanks for the great birthday! I loved the pumpkin pancakes.

There were so many things we did that I don't know if I can remember them all.
I loved making the cake with you Mommy. Especially when you let me lick out the bowl. Honest, I don't know how the cake batter got into my ears. And when you scolded me for putting my feet in the bowl along with my hands, I just don't understand how you didn't realize that it helps me get twice as much cake batter than just my fingers do. You should try it. We should make another cake again soon and I will show you.

The museum was fun. I loved the fish. They played hide and seek with me, but I always found them! The trains were a lot of fun too. I wish I could take the home with me. But the best part was the fire engine! I got to drive, and wear the hat, and even make the sounds. When I grow up I am going to be a fire man. Or at least drive a big noisy truck like that.

Thanks for the yummy lunch and the ice cream Mommy. I really like ice cream. I am sorry I didn't eat all my food, but I couldn't wait to get to that shake. You understand how it is. And then you let me get the fun car shirt that I found! I want to wear it every day. It is so neat.

But I think the best part of the day was picking up Daddy and going to feed the ducks. The picnic you made looked good, but I was having too much fun throwing rocks and running around. I just couldn't sit still. I loved looking at the stars with Daddy and watching the duckies sleeping. I wanted to feed them, but they wouldn't wake up! Can we go again when they are awake, please? Oh, and the cupcakes! and the candles! And the singing! And then opening the train tracks? Just like they have at the museum! How did you know that was what I wanted?

Best. Day. Ever.

But Saturday was a close second. I got to play with you Daddy all morning, and then I got to help you, Mommy decorate the cake. I am sorry for knocking it onto the floor. But the frosting was soo good! I loved all the different colors and it was fun sneaking tastes of the frosting when you weren't looking. And you didn't know that I ate some of the candy, too! Mmmm. Again, I say, you should make cake more often. It is my favorite.

I really liked sharing it with my grandparents and Uncle Lane at the pumpkin patch. Paca and Grandma "Copter" gave me such a fun helicopter to play with. It is so big! And Aunt Keri gave me the fun cars. I think I can play for a long time in my room now. But you have to come play with me, Daddy. You play cars better than anyone else.

I loved the slides at the pumpkin patch, and the maze, but I didn't like the racing pigs. I just wanted to go home and have dinner. Feeding the llama felt funny. His lips tickled my hand. He is so big it scared me a little, but I did like it a lot.

Grandma "Legos" gave me a lego Grover! I have so much fun building him. He is my new best friend. We go everywhere together!

Thanks Mommy and Daddy, for the best birthday ever! I had so much fun and can't wait for my next birthday.
