Bacoooooon!

Monday night Jeffrey was all nervous.  He didn't sleep well.

I woke up around 3:00 to feed the baby, as usual.  When she was finished, I put her back in her bed, groggily turned off the light, and rolled over to cuddle with Jeffrey.

And discovered why I had been able to sleep so soundly before.

I had been sprawling.

Which meant Jeffrey was missing.

When this fact finally sank in, I got up and went in search of him.

I found him cuddling Keith in his bed.

Jeffrey didn't sleep well.

He worried about Keith going to school for the first time ever.

Aww, isn't that sweet?!

The morning dawned bright and early, and smelled lovely as mornings are apt to do.

Perfect for picture taking.

And Faye, of course wanted to get in on the action.
She dressed herself.  And was very proud of her outfit, too.
We got out the door and off to school on time.  Yay!

As I waited in the drop off lane, I got a little misty eyed.  Keith is growing up!  By the time it was my turn to drop him off, it had passed, though, in all the rush to get him out the door and on time.

And then Faye and I went shopping.  She has a funny fascination with the big red balls in front of Target.

She cannot pass by one without insisting on playing on one of them.  Funny girl.

Keith loved school.  His school is wonderful!

We went to Red Robin to celebrate.

My baby is all growing up.  Sniff.

Just a little bit about him:

Favorite game: "A world about cubes is too... ish.  I don't like Mine Craft much anymore. Blah blah blah, I think I love Batman Legos."
Favorite animal: crocodiles because another side of them is they are nice and protective.  They aren't always mean.

What do you want to be when you grow up? A heart doctor.  And a brain doctor.

And that, Ladies and Gentlemen, is my little man.

He is wonderful!

And my Grandlittles always like the red balls at Target, too!

I'm just surprised she doesn't have a tutu on!

Yay for first days! I'd have been just like your hubby, except, we'll we kind of skipped that. *sigh* Well, it's been good, the route we did take. Glad Keith had a good first day.

Glad he had a good first day! I usually think he looks so big but those Kinder pictures he almost seems to young... I think my kids are just getting too big.

My kids love those ball by Target too, always pretend like if they walk by them they will start rolling to get them so they have to hurry to the car before the balls get them.
