Dragon Slayer

This is a tribute to my knight in shining armor.

Jeffrey is amazing.  Really.

He is a great support to his vegetable-ish wife.

He has been cooking every night.  And by cooking I mean ordering some sort of take out or another.  Lots of fried fatty food.

And I love it.

Do you want to know why?

Because I don't have to cook.

Which means I don't have to clean it up.

He has been helping with the kids so much.  He stayed home from work yesterday so I could get some rest.

There is something you have to understand.  When I am sick, I am extremely needy.  I like to be around people.  I don't like to be left alone.  Which is opposite of most sick people, I guess.   But very hard for him because he treasures his alone time.  And yet, he puts up with the whining and neediness.   Like a champ.

I am hoping I will be over the tiredness by tomorrow.  I was feeling slightly less tired today, and good heavens, my children need me.  They have sort of been orphans the past week or so.

Tomorrow will be better.

Tomorrow.

Amy, I'm sorry you're still under the weather. I'm glad you have a guy who is willing to take charge and set up the umbrellas when needed.

Sending you a hug and a prayer sweetie.

I love love love that picture!!! Husbands are so sweet when they are taking care of babies. I do hope that each day you will feel better and better. It is so awful to get sick when you have children to take care of. I can remember being sick and having all five of mine to care for. Thank heavens my two oldest ones were lots and lots of help, but still...........
Tomorrrow should be somewhat better.

What a good hubby! Plus it gives him a very real idea of what it is you do each and every day.

I'm glad Jefferey takes good care of you! All good wives need a good man doing the relief pitching.

Unfortunately Chris' cooking is like Jefferey's and when I am sick I gain 5 lbs on his fast food ;)
