Butterfly Mobile

Babies are so precious.  They make the worst day better, and the unsolicited kisses and hugs are like gold.

My cousin is having a baby and I was invvited to her shower.  I thought it was on the 27th, but my mother informed me it was actually the 21st.  Eeek!  That gave me one day to get a gift for her.

I pulled out my trusty Silhouette (still haven't found a suitable name for it), and went to town.

I ended up with something like this:

Keith came out from his nap, all tousle haired and sleepy eyed.  He looked up and said "Aw.  Mommy, that is so cute!  Is it for Faye?

And truth be told, I was very tempted to keep it for her!  I love it so much.

Instead, my cousin gets it, and Faye is going to have to wait until I can make her one as well.  Though hers will probably be something like birds, and probably have the strings be different lengths.  I am not sure.

But my cousin loved hers, which makes me so deliciously happy.  I love making things and giving them away to people who appreciate them!
