The New Amy Diet. Go Ahead, Try It.

I just made a very important discovery.

I am going to be going down in the health books.

Call me the next Robert Atkins.

As you all know, I just had a baby. Since having Faye, I have eaten two packages of chocolate chips. I normally don't like them, but for some reason, they really have been hitting the spot.

For lunch today I made a grilled cheese sandwich and had some butternut squash soup. See, I am trying to be healthy, trying to get rid of the baby chub, and the chocolate chips just aren't helping!

Or so I thought.

As I was putting the cheese away I wondered what the caloric difference was between cheese and chocolate chips. My findings shocked me.

Cheese (1 serving):
calories- 110
calories from fat- 80
total fat- 9g
saturated fat- 5g
cholesterol- 30mg
sodium- 180mg

Chocolate Chips (1 serving = 30 chips):
calories- 70
calories from fat- 35
total fat- 4g
saturated fat- 2g
cholesterol- 0mg
sodium- omg

So, there you have it. Chocolate is better than cheese. Good bye grilled cheese sandwiches, hello peanut butter and chocolate chip sandwiches. Think it will catch on?
