I am in Love!

Do you believe in love at first sight?

I do.

When a completely from head to toe blue little smurf was placed in my arms on Thursday, I knew there was no going back. I am hooked for life. (She was not blue because of lack of oxygen, her whole body was blue because of some other strange phenomenon. Really, she makes the cutest smurf ever!)

And so, as the little princess gets used to us, and we get used to her, there must be a seperation from all things that aren't family. So, for the next weekish I will be getting to know Faye, and helping her get to know us (all the while trying to keep a jealous two year old from sneaking her food). I will be back after Thanksgiving with lots more to report on.

Congratulations Amy!!!!! I am so happy for you and so glad that you did not have to have the Pit. I had my water broken with my third. I was 6-7 cm dilated 100% effaced and NOT IN LABOR. They threatened my with Pitocin too but he came on his own, thank goodness!

I am so proud of you and excited for the joys you have in store. That proverb in your last post was perfect...I may have to borrow that!

Enjoy your beautiful baby girl!

I love the name "Faye." So traditional and not at all common these days, so she will get to be unique with her name!

=)

PS. I have a wonderful friend name Faye, so the name has a very good feel for me.

I will miss your post but i agree frist thing frist is getting your little smurf used to the family... Give it time on the food thing... Sammy want to nurse when we brought ally home but it only lasted a few days... Now if we can just get her to stop stealing Allisons binky... Thats slowing down now too so in time the big kid comes back and leaves baby things to baby... Thank- goodness!
