Celebratory Madness

My house was really hot yesterday. I am not sure why. I opened the door and invited the cool air into my home in hopes it would even out the temperatures. It did.

It was the perfect way to invite the festivities into my home.

I baked all day. We had a few batches of cookies. Yummy! Apple cider. Delectable!

After Keith's nap some of his friends came over (and my friend who happens to be their mother) and all feasted on the confectionery concoctions. We also watched the oh so classic Ichabod and Mr. Toad.

Nothing says Halloween like sweets, cider and cinema (ha! alliteration!)

Happy October!

Look how festive you are! I bought candy corn, does that count? :)

Thanks for your nice words over in my blog yard.

That sounds like fun! I am so drained of energy that I can't imagine doing anything like that right now. Maybe sometime soon it will return...

What fun!

I did decorate for Halloween, but I'm trying to hold off on the baking so my hips will thank me later.

(Although, like Steph, I also bought lots and lots of candy corn. And it's already gone. We're talking like 10 bags. Oops.)
