Lesson Not Quite Learned

Remember when you had a new baby and always kept a spare change of clothes in the car? When exactly is it okay to stop that practice? We stopped when Keith stopped having massive *blow outs, and when he decided he loves to be clean. Obviously that was too early. As a result, Keith is now sporting a stylish dragon shirt and khakis, courtesy of a Walmart special.
And we will keep a blow out kit in the car from now on. Possibly until he is 12.

* a blow out is when the contents of the diaper exceed the holding capacity of the diaper.

Not quite sure what a blow out is, but I stopped taking changes when we were out of diapers.

I guess you should always bring extra clothes, even for yourself! Oh, and I was looking at that blog, but strangely didn't see my name anywhere on it! ;o)

Ugh. I hated it when that happened. Thankfully my kids are out of diapers. P.S. Cute Walmart special!

Oh my! I don't remember the last time Bella had one. I still keep a spare outfit though because blowouts aren't the only messes she can make.

I'm really bad at being prepared...I have done the 'walmart special' several times. Whatever you do, do keep spare clothes/underwear/something dry to sit on when you're potty-training, and for a long time after they're supposedly trained

Potty training is a great thing. About then is a great time. Until then, it is always good to know where the closest thrift shop is!
