Works for Me!

So I thought I would share a little tip I discovered a while ago.

I love the convenience of a white board, but I don't necessarily have room for one in my kitchen (that's what happens when you have a small house.) To compensate, I made my own.

Now, I can always have my grocery list right where I can see it. No more hunting around for paper or pens.

And the little kids love it too!

What tips do you have that make life easier?

****In answer to Lee's question, just go ahead and write directly on the fridge. No enhancements needed, just go ahead and write. Mirrors and windows work the same way!****

BRILLIANT!

I am a fan of taking pictures of the inside of my fridge ,,, then I can look in my phone and see what I need!

PS thank you for your amazingly loving support. What you said is completely right. It is a new chance.

That's a good idea, though my fridge is built in so it won't quite work for me ;) We do have a rather small magnetic board that we use for lists and stuff though instead.

What a great idea! Do you just write on the fridge or did you paint it with some kind of special paint? Is that a dumb question??

I have to admit, I hardly ever take a list with me to the grocery store. I am so lazy! And unorganized! I wanted to be organized, but you know I just haven't figured that one out yet!

we did this when i was at byui to our fridge. my roommates and i had a countdown to my wedding. yeah, so apparently WASHABLE markers didn't WASH off that fridge. yikes. thak goodness for powerful cleaning solutions. i would have been ticked to not get our deposit back!

What a good idea! I would've never thought of that! So...we have a black fridge. I guess I'll have to be on the lookout for a white-dry erase marker!

Another way to utilize your small space is to paint a section of your kitchen with chalkboard paint. I have done it on cabinet doors, pantry doors, a portion of the wall, even as a backsplash. Super easy, inexpensive and the kids can participate.

Hmmm, I had never thought of that before! What a fun idea.

Crayola carries some markers that are made to write on your windows. Keeps the kiddos entertained for a while. Thankfully they come off lots of other things too! But we haven't tried the fridge yet. Thanks for the tip Amy!
