Do any of you have any idea what today is?
I mean aside from it being Memorial Day.
Today is the day my wonderful Jeffrey was brought into this world.
It was twenty seven years ago that he graced us all with his presence, and the world has never been the same since.
Do you know what he wanted for his birthday?
A blueberry smoothie and the 1966 Batman movie.
He is getting both.
Can I just sing his praises for the rest of this post?
I know you will all most likely be jealous because I snagged him, but that is just the amazing luck I have.
Jeffrey is sweet.
He loves to use his mind and imagination.
He built our computer desk with his own two hands... without any previous experience, and without a design. He just wanted a desk, so he designed and built one.
He is the best dad in the world. No one can make Keith laugh like he can.
He is very dedicated to the things he does.
He is feircely loyal.
He knows everything about WWII history, and most other histories too.
He loves to learn.
He loves to share what he has learned.
He is such a good example to me. He makes me want to be a better person.
He is incredibly unselfish. He always thinks of Keith and me before his own comfort.
He is funny and clever.
Jeffrey has the cutest dimples I have ever seen in my life.
He is very open minded.
He has taught me how to, and the value of, thinking outside the box.
He loves me!
I could go on and on and on, but I fear I would lose the interest of anyone who is still reading this. I know everyone else thinks they have the greatest husband, and I don't doubt that yours is great, but you didn't get Jeffrey, so your isn't THE best.
I love him more and more every day. I love looking at him and falling for his silly grin all over again. I love his stories and eagerness. I often wonder if I just married a big kid. I think I did.
Happy birthday Darling.
