Spring Celebration

As is my custom, I spent a huge chunk of Saturday outside!
It was beautiful! Keith and I went to the park for a picnic with my brother and his kids. Keith was more interested in running around the playground then playing on the playground. He was absolutely fascinated by both the kites and dogs scampering everywhere, chasing the wind.

Later when Jeffrey got home from visiting a long lost friend, we went to another park and had a picnic. It was purely delightful. I felt like we hadn't a care in the world. Keith loved watching the trains go buy, and I can't wait to read him The Wind in the Willows. We could hear Mr. Toad arguing with Mole, and the whole world grew much smaller and more simple in those few hours outside. It is amazing the perspective that comes from a few hours of relaxation with the family.
Reminiscent of the 1930'sOne Day I'll be just like YOU Daddy!Keith just can't wait for more of this Spring Celebration!
What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday!

Now, since the snow has thwarted my park planes for today, I guess we will just have to make Gingerbread cookies, and read and play with Keith's cars all day. Drat :)

Tricia,
Thanks, he loves his jacket too. "Not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket!"

Emily,
I think you are right. More women need to adopt the red and all will be right with the world. I think you are super woman. You bake your bread, sew Brennan's bedding, and conquer the world. There is nothing stopping you!
