Decor on a Dime

Today The Boss and I made Easter decorations.
It was a lot of fun for him, a little frustrating for me.
We decided on making an easter egg
garland.
I just used some
kite string, and strung it through the plastic eggs.

I really like how it turned out!
While I was stringing the eggs on, The Boss took great delight in picking up the eggs on the string, and putting it around his neck.

Silly boy,
loves necklaces.
He thought it was the greatest fun ever.
Once I got it untangled for the
four thousandth time, I was able to put it up.
It isn't the most professional piece of decor, but
I made it,

and I really like it.

It certainly adds a little something to the room, don't you think?

What are some thrifty ways you decorate?

Oooh I like that a lot! I've been searching for plastic eggs here and I haven't found any. I want to make a wreath with them. I might need to ask my mom to stock up the day after Easter so I can bring them home with me *L*

Awesome job! Great idea! See, you don't need any decorating tips from me! It always seems better when you make it yourself, huh?
