Mysterious Ways

Wow.

All I can say is WOW!

Today we got a call. It was from the Church office building. They were wanting to interview my husband. He was working, so I set up an interview for him (isn't power of attorney wonderful? I don't officially have it, but as his wife, it is all mine). They interviewed him today, and 15 minutes later called back and offered him an internship.

The Catch.
Because he is an intern, he doesn't get any of the benefits. So, here is the huge blessing. Had I still been pregnant at this time he would not have been able to take this position. Now, he can work, and I can pick up a swing shift so Keith will always have a parent with him, and I can get benefits. Wowzers! Can we talk about all the mysterious things the Lord does for us? Here I was thinking it was the worst thing in the world, but now I can see more clearly that it is something the Lord was taking care of the whole time! I am astounded.

By the way, does anyone know of any companies that are hiring that have good insurance?

Wow! The COB, that's pretty neat! Tyler worked there for a couple of years and loved it. By the way, they have a wayyy good cafeteria downstairs. It's like The Roof with a live piano player and everything. The food is to die for and it's really cheap! (like you can both eat lunch there for $10 :)

I'm so glad things are turning out so well for your family. Isn't it so true that some of our hardest trials turn out to be our biggest blessings?

I know that a lot of times internships can turn into full-time jobs. They have amazing benefits at the Church but that probably doesn't help you if you need a job with benefits now, does it? I'll keep my ears open and let you know if I hear of anything.

Yeah, I'm so happy for you guys! I've heard Hoagan construction is a great company. I knew someone who did office work for them.

:( and :) for you all at once! What a ride you have been on. What will he be doing for the church? It sounds neat!

Hospitals are great. You can do patient intake at night.

It is so lucky he got that internship now. I know they just started a hiring freeze. How lucky they were able to hire him right before that went into effect. Also I agree, the cafeteria is awesome.
