Blessings and changes

So I just have to share my happiness right now... As those of you who have been following our blog know, our car caught on fire a little more than two weeks ago. We have been running circles around the insurance company and the auto body shop. They have been holding us in limbo the whole time, and while it can be a fun game if you are super flexible, it is not a fun place to be. Today I finally got somewhere. They are going to FIX our car! I think that is the happiest news I have had for a long time. It seems like the Lord has been trying to help us learn and grow lately, and I must confess, we have had to laugh at a lot of the difficulties or we would have lost our minds! But, one great shinning light has just struck through! This in itself is enough to convince anyone that Heavenly Father really does know us, He is mindful of our trials, and He really does hear and answer prayers! Right now would have been a very difficult time for us to buy a new car... especially since our current car has been completely paid for... for a couple of years. WHAT A BLESSING! So, I am just bursting with joy. Not only for the happy news on the car, but for the knowledge that I have a Heavenly Father who truly does love me and cares for me. Wowzers I feel so happy and blessed and safe and cared for right now. I just had to share that happiness with everyone because that is the best way to keep it strong. Yay for blessings!

On another note, I read something that has given me much thought. It was an article I stumbled across on KSL.com. It is about the hazards of blogging. I really am not a fan of private blogs. They seem to be quite a hassle, but I understand why people decide to go private. In Lieu of that, I decided that I need to protect my family as well, so... we have decided that we are not going to make our blog private. I am just going to go through and make sure there is no incriminating evidence that could be traced back to my family. Haha! It will probably take a while to do it, but if it is for the safety of my family, I guess I can do it. I thought about starting a whole new blog and just ending this one, but... that would be a lot of work and confusing for all my friends and family, soo... from now on, the names and places will be changed to protect the innocent and not so innocent.

Hurray! I'm glad your car is getting fixed. Ours is slowly dying. I'm not really sure what we'll be able to do. Guess I'll find out.
